We were all requested to submit a progress report outlining projects that have been completed or are in progress. Please find attached the progress report. Please note that the progress report was based on previous minutes on hand and my personal knowledge/understanding. Due to time constraints I was unable to have the progress report go through the proper process of approval, however I did make a note of this to Chairperson - Stuart Mathison.

Benefits

The collaboration and networking with other countries conducting similar projects. For example Solomon Islands SchoolNet, Telecentre Movement in the Pacific

The different approaches implemented to achieve IT solutions according to demographics of the country. The transition from a paper document to a living working document.

Awareness of scholarships and funding available eg PINA 1 year scholarship offered to a school leaver for technical training in Noumea with SPC, GPK funding for the WSIS conference in November etc

The ability to identify where Samoa is in terms of IT development and management compared to other countries.
